PURPOSE
Spark Theatre is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to nurturing a creative community and providing a home for developing and presenting performing arts in Ballarat.
MISSION
- Operate an independent, dedicated and professionally equipped performing arts space in Ballarat.
- Showcase a diverse range of high quality Australian and International theatre, cabaret, comedy and other performing arts events.
- Provide professional pathways and opportunities to local performing artists and theatre workers.
- Develop local theatre-literate audiences through diversity and accessibility initiatives and partnership programs.
- Actively work to be representative of the community we serve including acknowledging and working with the traditional owners of the land, and engaging people of all generations, people of colour, people with a disability, and people who identify as LGBTIQA+.
